The Tiguan has been fully redesigned inside and out for the 2025 model year. The exterior makeover includes a revamped front fascia with a higher nose, larger grille, and sleeker headlights. You can now upgrade your Tiguan with an available LED light bar and an illuminated logo. There are plenty of new wheel designs to choose from, along with three new paint colors: Avocado Green Pearl, Sandstone Uni, and Monterey Blue Pearl.
Inside the cabin, the Tiguan offers premium materials like genuine American walnut wood and Savona leather. The infotainment system gets a larger standard touchscreen and an available Harmon Kardon sound system. The Tiguan engine also gets a horsepower boost.
The Tiguan still comes standard with a 2.0-liter turbocharged I4 engine. However, the 2025 model produces 201 horsepower, up from 184 from the previous year. Because the 2025 Tiguan is also 170 pounds lighter than the 2024 model, it also gets a boost to fuel efficiency. With its remodeled exterior, expect your new Tiguan to turn plenty of heads. The Tiguan's overhauled infotainment system brings it fully in line with what our customers expect from the latest SUVs. Gone is the previously standard eight-inch touchscreen display, replaced with a pristine new 12.9-inch system that includes a rotary volume knob for those who prefer tactile control over music volume. Want a bigger touchscreen? You can upgrade to a stunning 15-inch display. Every Tiguan also now comes standard with a 10.3-inch digital gauge cluster. Music lovers will want to upgrade to the available 12-speaker Harmon Kardon sound system, which provides exceptional audio quality.
VW has always prioritized driver and passenger safety, and the 2025 Tiguan continues this tradition. The Tiguan adds four new airbags: driver's knee, center, and two rear side. Every Tiguan also comes standard with VW's IQ.DRIVE® Level 2 driver assistance features.
